Constellation:

Sculptor, the Sculptor

Sculptor was created by La Caille out of some unused stars between Cetus and Phoenix. It is supposed to represents a sculptor's studio, workshop or office, but it's a fairly blank area. It has no stars brighter than the 4th magnitude. It does boast some fine galaxies, though, notably NGC 55, NGC 253 and NGC 300. It culminates in mid November.
